      What Happens Next?

Once we receive your photos, we’ll assess the condition and determine which level of restoration it falls under — Basic, Standard, or Premium.
These service levels reflect the amount of work involved, but we can only confirm this after reviewing the image in person.

We’ll then provide a quote, and only begin work once you’ve approved the price. After the restoration is complete, we’ll return your originals safely along with your final result.

      How We Price Photo Restoration

      Basic Restoration

Basic restoration is suited to lightly aged photos that only need gentle adjustments such as minor crease line removal, slight tone correction, and general brightening or sharpening.

This 1938 beach photo taken in Cowes was mostly intact. It needed a light clean-up, tone correction and some minor detail sharpening. No structural issues, missing parts or repairs required. This is a Basic restoration at $59.

      Standard Restoration

Standard restoration is ideal for photos with more visible wear, including small cracks, light creases, faded details, or areas needing moderate repair and tone balancing.

The portrait of Stuart Macrae showed some age and wear. It had visible creases, faded detail and a few minor cracks that needed retouching. No reconstruction, but more care was needed. This falls under our Standard grade at $105.

      Intensive Restoration

Intensive restoration is for heavily damaged images requiring reconstruction of faces or backgrounds, repair of major cracks or tears, and advanced restoration of texture, contrast or lost detail.
The 1920s schoolyard photo had major cracking, worn facial details, and missing information in the background. Rebuilding and high-level repair was essential. This is clearly an Intensive restoration at $149+.
